Joan Hudson Brown, Broker and CEO of AAA CHOICE REALTY INC. began here career in real estate in l978. She graduated from Miller High School, The Georgia Academy of Business and Fickling's School of Real Estate. Prior to l978, Joan held Executive Secretary Positions at various companies including Lawyers Title Insurance Co. She was manager of Commonwealth Title Insurance Co. of Georgia.

The first year in real estate sales with Fickling & Walker, Inc., Joan received a sales award. In 1982, she joined Hudson & Marshall, Inc. in real estate sales and gained experience with their exciting auctions. Joan worked with Conn Realty, Inc. for a number of years. 1997 saw a new beginning for Joan. She was selected Broker for the newly formed Newsome Realty, LLC. In December, l999, Joan purchased The assets of Newsome Realty and established AAA CHOICE REALTY INC. The office is conveniently located in Jones County at the intersection of Gray Highway and Princess Ann Drive (one block north of Joycliff Road).

Joan grew up in Macon, Ga., the daughter of Mr. and Mr. Douglas Hudson, both being from Jones County. Joan's Husband, William "Jay" Brown is from Irwin County, Ga. and is retired from Robins Air Force Base. They have one son, Jay Newton Brown, daughter-in-law, Marcia Brown and a grandson, Andrew Justin Brown, who attends Jones County High.

Love of Horses has carried Joan down many exciting paths in her life. She owns the successful horse operation, Browntree Farms, and breeds Arabian Horses, Tennessee Walking Horses, Spotted Saddle Horses and American Walking Ponies, the breed that she developed in the l950's. Her Spotted Tennessee Walking Horse Stallion, Generator Rockin, won World Championships in 2000, 2001 and 2002 in halter. She also loves pier fishing and St. Simons Island.
