Wilma was born in Ben Hill County Georgia and raised in Dodge County Eastman, Georgia. Graduating from Dodge County High School in 1965, Wilma then began her career as an administrative assistant with the Houston County Department of Family and Children Services.

In 1966, Wilma married her childhood neighbor and friend, H. Leon Purvis. In 1967 Leon joined the US Air Force and they traveled to Texas and Colorado. They have three children, Michael Purvis (Mike), Michelle Purvis Skender and Jennifer Purvis Trent. They have eight grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild.

Wilma has worked various careers which involve finances, taxes, medical and budget experience. At present she is employed at Robins AFB with the US Air Force Reserve Command. Wilma became interested in Real Estate about 15 years ago, but only pursued the opportunity to learn the wonderful world of real estate last year. She completed her real estate licensing program through Georgia MLS in Atlanta and passed her licensing exam in August 2008.

Wilma is looking forward to helping people find their perfect home and accomplish their dreams and fulfill their needs in providing them with the opportunity to locate the home that gives them the peace of mind that they have arrived home.
